The superb technical knowledge of physiotherapy and cutting edge equipment is a given at Balance

Round the World Yachtswomen, Club Triathlete & Hockey player

I was introduced to Balance by my surgeon, following the second (of seven!) operations on my injured ankle.

He knew Graham “liked a challenge” and he was absolutely right. I have Graham and his team to thank for getting me back on my feet time and again.
It has been a long journey back to fitness and we are not there yet. But they have never given up looking for new ways to help with my troublesome injury, when others undoubtedly would have waved the white flag

Although still not cured, my ankle and just as importantly my mental state, is much improved from what is was pre-Balance. Their determination and expertise prepared me to compete in a round the world yacht race and they were there – well on email – every step of the way across the unforgiving Southern Ocean and Atlantic for advice and motivation.

My race was almost over when I returned to the UK for more surgery having reached Australia in January 2010. Post surgery, they worked hard on building my strength back and I rejoined the race, going on to cross the finish line as part of the winning crew in July that same year.

In 2011 I was even at the stage where I could compete in my first triathlon, which I would have seen as an impossibility before I started working with Balance. The superb technical knowledge of physiotherapy and cutting edge equipment is a given at Balance but just as important has been the faith shown in me and my recovery by Graham, Sian, Raph and the team. They have never let me waver in my belief that I can recover and resume the sporty active lifestyle I want. I would have no hesitation in recommending Graham and his team.
