Steven Connor is the sports podiatrist at Balance Performance Physiotherapy’s London clinic and has over 7 years experience. He has a keen interest in running injuries of the foot and ankle. He has worked with all abilities of patients from the recreational runner to the international athlete. He has extensive experience and offers:

  • gait analysis,
  • rehabilitation,
  • custom made orthotics,
  • shockwave therapy and
  • injection therapy.
Steven has two BSc qualifications, one in Sports Science from St. Marys University in Twickenham (2009) and the other in Podiatry from Southampton University (2013). He gained his post graduate qualification (PGCert) in Podiatric Sports Medicine in 2017 from Queen Mary University in East London. After becoming one of the first in the country to gain this qualification he now works as a podiatrist in London’s private sector and NHS. Steven also lectures at Queen Mary University London on their Sports and Exercise Medicine programme for doctors.
Steven is a keen runner and competes for Aldershot Athletics club. He holds personal bests for the 10km in 30.31 and the half marathon in 69.00. When he was at university, he won the British University Cross Country Championships in 2013. He has had a fair few injuries
and some surgeries, so he has first-hand experience in dealing with sports injuries. He has been fortunate enough to train alongside many international athletes and learn from some world class coaches and physiotherapists.
