Sophie vernon – Sports & Spinal Physiotherapist
Sophie qualified from The University of the West of England in 2011 and has since enjoyed her time working in private practice and professional sport. Sophie knows the importance of physical health and fitness in achieving an overall sense of well-being. Having worked at a Premiership Rugby Club for over three years, and from her own experience, she knows how frustrating an injury can be. From education and advice, to treatment and the planning of rehabilitation programmes, she enjoys working to help all our clients, sporting and non-sporting, achieve their goals.
What she loves most about Physio is the variety. Over the years she has been lucky enough to work with the BBC along with professional athletes involved in Rugby, Skiing, Lacrosse and Motorsports. She has also been part of some amazing sporting events such as The World Squash Championships in 2014 and 2015 and the European Aquatics Campionships in 2018 amongst others.
Sophie enjoys treating people who have a desire to get back to full fitness and have the same interest in the way their bodies work as she does. Balance offers a really rounded service and is a great place to come if you want the facilities, team input and precision of a professional environment.
Sophie also offers Acupuncture and Pilates training within her practice.
