Sonia Mahdjoubi



Sonia is a physiotherapist providing treatment and rehabilitation programmes to clients with a wide range of conditions.  She enjoys working with clients who want to make healthy lifestyle choices and works in a supportive way to achieve optimal health.  As well as physiotherapy, she guides people in good nutrition, adequate sleep and stress management.

Sonia is passionate about holistic health and believes that wellness involves a balance of physical and mental health.  She offers deep tissue (sports) massage as well as physiotherapy and offers classes such as post-natal Ladies Core and Roll and Recover (a soft tissue mobility technique class free to Balance clients).

Sonia is working to make rheumatology her specialty and is currently studying for her masters in Musculoskeletal Medicine and Clinical Rheumatology at University of Manchester.  This course has helped Sonia to gain specialist knowledge in the management of rheumatological conditions as well as a deeper understanding of the function of immune system and inflammation.

Sonia is passionate about learning about how to promote mind health and also has an interest in how nutrition can improve overall wellbeing.  She is a keen cook and enjoys learning healthy recipes to integrate into daily living.  She has an interest in mediation practice and attends a mediation evening on a regular basis.

Sonia qualified as a physiotherapist in 2016 from University of the West of England.  She has worked in the NHS and privately providing rehab and multidisciplinary management for a wide range of conditions.
