COVID-19 Update for July 19th 2021

COVID–19 PROTOCOLS  ARE STILL IN PLACE

Summary of COVID-19 Update:

Balance Performance Physiotherapy will continue to ask clients to…

  • be temperature checked and use hand sanitiser on arrival,
  • to wear a face mask whilst waiting for and receiving treatment of a hands on nature, or when in close proximity to your therapist. This is the case whether in a treatment room or other space within Balance Performance.

Using our gym, studio spaces including classes and the AlterG Equipment…

  • Our gym and upstairs studio space will remain uncrowded and well ventilated.
  • Use of a face mask is optional if you maintain a distance of 2 metres between you and other users.
  • You must clean surfaces and equipment that you touch.

The UK Government is relaxing all COVID-19 restrictions from 19  July. It is expected that people and businesses continue to act to limit the spread of COVID-19. As cases are likely to increase in our community in the weeks and months to come, Balance intends to play its part.

  • Over the last 18 months we have kept our practice COVID-19 free. When clients have tested positive our policies have helped prevent infection spreading to our team and other visiting clients.

  • Our strategy is directly influenced by the instructions given by  Public Health England (PHE). We have not received any new instructions from PHE to change our protocols when in treatment rooms or working in close proximity to our clients.

  • Whilst we recognise that the vaccination programme  has weakened the link between severe disease and COVID-19, to  keep both our team and clients safe, we currently see no reason not to maintain robust COVID-19 protocols.

Therefore, Balance Performance Physiotherapy will continue to ask clients to be temperature checked and use hand sanitiser on arrival, and to wear a face mask whilst waiting for and whilst receiving treatment.

  1. Our gym and upstairs studio space will remain uncrowded and well ventilated.
  2. Use of a face mask is optional if you maintain a distance of 2 metres between you and other users.
  3. You must clean surfaces and equipment that you touch.
