Sports massage
Anyone can benefit from a sports massage: the treatment is tailored to suit your specific needs. You dont have to be a sports person to be a client, many who suffer from postural related tension benefit from regular deep tissue massage and stretching at our South London studio.
Injury Free but feel a "niggle" developing? The sports masseurs at Balance have phenomenal sensitivity in their hands and will be able to identify it and guide you through if your muscles are involved.
If a different approach is needed you will be introduced to a physiotherapist or strength/movement coach for an extra push back towards a higher level of performance and ability than even BEFORE your "niggle".
Sports massage offers many benefits, here are some:
- Increases the effectiveness of your recovery from a sports injury or back, neck and shoulder pain.
- Experienced hands are able to identifty areas of vulnerability for you to focus on (with mobility, flexibility, strength and conditioning).
- Important within the injury prevention and health programme that every human (not just sports people) should have.
- Essential part of event specific training plans where mileage climbs - eg. marathon, [cycling race], triathlon, or adventure race.
- Significant benefits to assist recovery from any intense, high volume, or ongoing physical training.
Your first appointment needs to be 45 minutes, subsequent session lengths depend on your needs, you can have:
- 30 minutes
- 45 minutes
- 60 minutes
