Sian MacRae

Sian is one of our most experienced and well qualified physiotherapists having qualified in 1996, then completed her MSc in 2005 at UCL and commenced her PhD at Kings College London in 2008 where she is now nearing completion investigating the effects of footwear on chronic low back pain. Having worked as the lead Physiotherapist in a busy London A&E department Sian gained enormous experience in the diagnosis and management of acute injuries. She has a particular interest in ankle disorders and their rehabilitation.

Sian has worked with England Lacrosse, covering two World Cups, Rosslyn Park RFC, and offered her physiotherapy skills at The London Marathon.

Sian enjoys watching sport and is a strong swimmer and can often be found in the local lido! Sian has competed in several triathlons; long distance sea swims are her next challenge.
