Raph Rinaldi

Raph is one of our most experienced physiotherapists; he has over sixteen years experience in sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Originally from North East Italy Raph has amassed enormous professional experience having lived and worked in Italy, Australia and Ireland. He re-located to London to work with GB Rowing and the English Institute of Sport before joining the Balance Team in 2008.

He has worked with athletes from a multitude of sports and at all levels. He has worked and travelled with marathon and middle distance runners at International and Olympic level including two New York Marathon winners and Olympic medallists. He also enjoyed his time as the Team Physiotherapist of the Ireland Senior Basketball and Cricket National Teams and Physiotherapist at the Winter Olympics in Turin. Raph has nurtured a keen interest in running, lower limb and shoulder sports injuries. He is currently a physiotherapist for Brentford Football Club Youth Development program where he is enjoying working with talented young sports people ensuring they achieve their goals.

A former elite race walker, he has walked a marathon for charity in around 3h50' and loves keeping fit by running, roller skating and hiking.
