Winter training can sometimes be dull and repetitive for an athlete or triathlete, for the winter sports men and women all the foucs is on the football, hockey, rugby or lacrosse pitch. The World Record Club aims to spice it up for everyone with some healthy competition that wont leave you depleted of energy.
The Balance team have been competing and clocking some fairly quick times on the g-trainer in the past few weeks. With the mile chosen as the ‘Blue Ribbon’ event, some members are getting close to that 4-minute-mile barrier at 85% body weight. Could you be the first to go under that magical milestone, either at 75% or 85% of your bodyweight.
Become a World Record Club (WRC) member and you can time yourself over any distance that you want. We will keep a record of it to track your progress and highlight every amazing achievement.
If you are a current Balance client you can be a member of the Balance Team for the WRC if not get your running, triathlon or sports club to join. Members will benefit massively, including:
How do I become a World Record Club (WRC) Member?
1. book in for an initial G-trainer induction session (£25)
2. be shown the log-ins, parameters and safety features of the g-trainer
3. post times to us whenever you do a fast g-trainer session
4. attend regular Balance Mile Challenge meets and pace yourself against the rest
5. discuss with your physiotherapist first if you are still recovering from an injury or surgery
